After completing French 201 or equivalent, French 311, 312 and an elective (3 units).

 What courses do I need to pursue a Spanish Minor? 
After completing Spanish 202 or 250, Spanish 301A or B, 302, 303,
350A or B and an elective (3 units).

 Can I pursue a French Major at CSUSM? 
Yes , you should declare a Special Major. However, you may Study Abroad,
take French courses while in France/Francophone country
and get a Special Major in French if you have sufficient credits.
(40 units must be in Upper-Division and 120 units total for a B.A.)

 What is the Certificate in Spanish Translation? 
It is a new Certificate specialized in Translation Studies. Students must 
complete 12 units of the following classes: Spanish 303 (Advanced 
Composition), SPAN 320 (Intro to Spanish Translation), SPAN 330 (Techniques
in Translation and Interpretation), SPAN 340 (Specialized Spanish Translation)
